SUMMARY

☛ I've been involved with electronics and computer gizmos in some form since I was a child (playing with Toy DC Motors, AA Cells, wires, Junked hard-drives, LEGO toys)- and that’s something I've never stopped learning. Got more interest in electronics after winning at State level Science fair in 8th Grade by making an self-dependent village model using conventional energy sources.

My interest on growing technologies in embedded systems put me into the path of freelancing, these days I work as a freelancer. I love Hardware, Hardware Development always excites me. I see it like a "Roller-Coaster" ride, miss off a single "bolt" and a complete disaster. Chck, chack, check is always required and when all "bolts" fit correctly, it's a thrill ride.

Very much interested into Internet of Things (IoT) based applications.Let's change the world by the way we interact with the "things".
"Do you know the future? Really? Let's design"

Real Time Vision Based Security System

8th International Science Engineering & Technology Conference, VIT University
May 6, 2014

Objective: To design a vision based security system which can meet the deadlines by performing particular tasks based on image processing for fast recognition of motion action and quick response in a closed monitored area.
The research was carried out to develop a novel algorithm for security system as well as to use the Open Source Technologies and make the product as low cost as possible.
This system was designed with a novel algorithm called RBFS, to provide security in home and office environment in closed monitored area. This feature can be integrated with existing systems installed in the area of interest. The system detects the only human presence in the area and notifies the person in charge.

The system successfully implemented on:
Micro-controller : BCM 2835 (ARM 1176JZFS)
Tools : Open CV, Debian Linux
Programming Language : Embedded C and C for open CV.
Camera : Logitech C270. UVC drivers ported to the board.
Development board : Raspberry Pi
Integration with cmake

Analysis of Wireless Token Ring Protocol using RTS/CTS Scheme

7th International Science Engineering & Technology Conference, VIT University
November 9, 2013

Abstract:
Motivation to analyze Wireless Token Ring Protocol (WTRP) arises due to the need to modify the protocol for implementing Wireless Controller Area Network (WCAN) as WTRP provides smooth extensions to other networks. WTRP promises quality of service (QoS) in terms of reserved bandwidth and constrained latency, which are critical in many real-time applications. WTRP also improves efficiency by reducing the number of retransmissions due to collisions and it is robust against single node failures, and recovers elegantly from several faults. It is an appropriate method for safety-critical vehicle-to-vehicle communications which ranges from braking system of a car to the landing gear of an airplane, and home automation to networking, In this paper, WTRP designed on top of 802.11 using RTS/CTS scheme is analyzed, throughput and delay analysis obtained is compared with WTRP with RTS/CTS scheme disabled, the analysis will be useful to implement the WCAN protocol.

Research in Wireless Power Transmission(Padless)

 – Present
This research was done to fulfill my enthusiasm in the field of wireless Technologies. I had the idea to explore this topic since 2006 when I was in the high school.
I was eager to research in this field when I get the complete knowledge about electronics, wireless tachnologies and Antennas to be used in this Project so I started this research in the year of 2011 and I have explored the areas, applications and different Technical Stuffs.
I will be working and documenting this research uptill the satisfactory work is done.I will keep exploring the latest innovations in this field.
♦ Challenge:
Generally this is not the new topic, this topic is been researched since 1953, the challenge in this research topic is the transmission range, medium, and the size of the antenna. The researchers are now using charging pads to charge the device but the real problem is to use this technology without any pad. Another mathod was to use tesla coil method but its impractical.
♦ Action:
I simulated and tried different methods that is Charge Pump method and the rectenna method. The further research will lead me to the mobile charging as a low power applications.

Java Application Development for Remote Controlling of Devices

 –
♦ Challenge:
Being Electronics & Communication Engineer, I learnt JAVA script and other stuff related to that, I wanted to develop a mobile application for remote controlling the devices.
♦ Actions:
I started working with Netbeans and Notepad++ on the platform MIDP 2.1 and CLDC 3.0.
♦ Result:
The application is running successfully in Classic and touch phones.

Automatic Curtain Controller

This project was the part of the Home automation system, Next step to making home fully autonomous, curtain itself decides to control the curtain track according to light and weather condition, It also can be controlled by remote control using RF communication.

Infrared Wireless Headphone

 –
♦ Challenge:
"Infrared Wireless Headphone" was the project developed to learn the basics about electronics, amplifiers and different sensors and the enhancements used for the sensors. The basic concept was to do transmission through Infrared LED from a transmitter connected to a device to the receiver connected with the Headphone.
♦ Result:
This project was accomplished successfully in the 3rd Semester of my B.E. Electronics & Communication Engineering.
As electronics beginner, I learnt basics about PCB designing, etching and also mounting the several types of components on PCB.

Secured Door Lock

This is the project, introduced by D4 Automations, Ahmedabad, asking for development in high security, low cost door lock, asking for password through keyboard to unlock the door driving the servo motor. PCB & Circuit design was part of the work which I took to work on this project. Future expansions can be magnetic sensored door key.

Automatic Room Light Controller with Visitor Counter

 –
♦ Challenge:
This project was developed to meet my enthusiasm for electronics and microcontrollers in the 5th Semester of my bachelors. The basic requirement of the project was to save the wastage of energy in the big enterprises and companies or even in the houses. The application of the project was to count the visitors and switch off the lights if there are no visitors in the room.
♦ Result:
The project was using AT8051 microcontroller and the Different TSOP sensors and timing ICs.
In this project I learnt to make the professional PCB and the Microcontroller Programming (i.e.C Lang) and different techniques of the troubleshooting the PCB problems.
